If a 5G signal is unavailable, the device automatically falls back to the widespread LTE network (up to 195 Mbps).

Seamless Integration into the UniFi Ecosystem

As soon as you connect the U5G, it is instantly recognized for adoption in your UniFi Network App. A massive advantage of Ubiquiti’s software architecture: The modem does not need to be physically connected to a dedicated WAN port on your UniFi Gateway. It can be connected to any LAN/PoE port anywhere in your network. It automatically establishes a secure tunnel to your gateway and acts virtually as a secondary WAN interface. Through the controller, you can precisely define which VLANs (e.g., only corporate networks, POS systems, and IoT; excluding guest Wi-Fi) are allowed to route traffic over cellular during a failover to prevent high data costs. Tut genau was es soll...
Schönes, schlankes Gerät. Funktioniert genau so wie beschrieben. Aber Achtung es ist kein Ersatz für einen echten 5G Router, da es nur 5G Redcap unterstützt. Ich nutze eine eSIM von Vodafone. Damit bekommt er nur Verbindung über LTE. Also auf jeden Fall vorher informieren, was der Carrier unterstützt.
